I read a really good story from fanfiction on Chrno Crusade. Its called "moments lost and time remains" . Chrno needs to find Rosette a birthday present. Here's the really nice part.

"I wanted to surprise you. I wanted to actually get you something this time." Chrono went on.
"Chrono, really. It's alright. It's the thought that counts." Rosette said, inching closer to him. "You're here. That's all I care about."
A faint tinge of red appeared on the demon's face and he made eye contact for a brief second before he quickly stared at the floor.
"I did-- think of something, though." Chrono admitted hesitantly.
"Oh?"
"I thought of the one thing I wanted to get for you. The one thing I would never be able to give to you."
"What was that?"
Chrono didn't answer right away. He looked at everything, the stars, trees, the crescent moon; everything except her. Then he shifted his gaze to Rosette and answered.

"I wanted to give you more time."

Aw. How sweet. It's a must-read! I just wish that they didn't die in the last episode. Good pairings shouldn't die. :((
Oh well. Why can't i find CC episodes on youtube?! UH.
